The lake Baven is the largest of the Sörmland region in Sweden. It has a surface area of more than 6,000 hectares and its waters loaded with predator fishes.

The pikes, pike-perches, big perches and even catfishes (a protected species in Sweden) are encountered in high density  in its waters which do not suffer from any type of fishing pressure.

The major part of the lake belongs to private owners who do not want any fishing tourism but we have been able to get the fishing rights on a surface of more of 1800 hectares. That means we reduce the potential number of fishermen to a maximum of 10  per week, which leaves more than 180 hectares at the entire disposal of each of them!

For the sake of ethics, all the pikes and pike perch, and perch will have to be released only small baits can be caught (this is controlled during your stay), so that you can enjoy the great fishing on long term.

Ideally, the best fishing method is to use jerk baits in the shallows , swim baits, big soft baits as “bulldhawgs” or shads and crank baits lures in the deepest spots , big spoons and for exciting surface fishing, lures as stick baits, spinner baits, artificial frogs in the weed beds or reeds from May and beginning autumn season ; but you can also fish with live or dead bait with preferably circle hook setting (available at the camp)

Fly fishing is also a must as the water is very clear and you can enjoy the fish grab your fly , both perch and pikes can be taken that way

During your stay you will be assisted by a English, Spanish , French-speaking team and will have access to a 24 hours/day hot line. If you are interested, we can arrange a guided trip (2 fishermen maximum at a time)
We also sell lures and accessories (braids, leaders, etc.) on site and loan high quality wetsuits, nets, rods and reels with braid.

Your 4m60 Sandström boats are equipped with 20HP 4-stroke Tohatsu motors, depth sounders, detailed maps and required safety equipment (life jackets, anchors, oars).

Also for groups from 2 to 6 anglers we can accommodate in a splendid chalet by the lake or in a old restored barn.

The towns of Nyköping (30 minutes) and Stockholm (1 hour) offer a fantastic environment to go to the restaurant, go shopping and stroll in the old districts..

A rare opportunity to fish in exclusivity and in a beautiful environment with a lot of wildlife (deers, fallow deers, roe deer , moose, wild pig, osprey etc.)that you have to appreciate as it should be, which we invite you to share with us.
